Hitchin Priory is a former 14th-century Carmelite monastery, now a hotel and events estate at Tilehouse Street in the Hertfordshire market town of Hitchin (SG5 2DL), just over 30 minutes from London King's Cross. Its grounds host the Hitchin Priory Summer Sessions — a run of one-day open-air concerts that has welcomed Rudimental, The Human League, Ella Eyre, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Pato Banton, The Wombats, James Bay, Razorlight and Becky Hill, spanning pop, indie, rock and dance. Alongside the summer music programme the Priory runs as a conference, wedding and functions venue, and stages other events such as immersive Halloween experiences.
