Heaton Park is the largest park in Greater Manchester, in Prestwich about five miles north of the city centre and well served by the Bury Metrolink line. It's a major outdoor concert and festival site: home to the annual Parklife Festival (returning 20-21 June 2026 with 16 stages across dance, electronic, indie, hip-hop and pop) and host to landmark homecoming shows up to 70,000-strong — the Oasis and Stone Roses reunions, plus New Order and The Courteeners. Owned and managed by Manchester City Council; an open-air stadium-scale site, not a BYO-PA grassroots room.
