Glasgow Green is the city's oldest public park, on the north bank of the River Clyde off Saltmarket, and one of Scotland's biggest outdoor concert grounds. Managed by Glasgow City Council, it hosts large-scale open-air music events — most notably the three-day TRNSMT Festival each June, which runs four stages (Main, King Tut's, River and Boogie Bar) with line-ups spanning rock, pop, indie and electronic; the 2026 bill includes Kasabian, Lewis Capaldi, Richard Ashcroft and Amy Macdonald. As a green-field event space, it is used for festivals and major touring shows with full temporary stage production rather than as a permanent indoor venue.
