Freight Brixton is a 1,000-plus capacity open-air food, drink and music destination at 33 Brixton Station Road, south London (SW9 8PB), opened on 7 May 2026 by the team behind Manchester's Escape to Freight Island. Billed as London's largest rooftop venue, it sits beside Brixton Village Market and blends DJ collectives, cocktail bars, chef residencies and food festivals with a strong live-music programme. The opening run featured David Rodigan's reggae sound system and house DJ Laurence Guy, and it runs weekly 'Soul of the South' Thursdays with the Cross The Tracks Festival celebrating jazz, funk and soul. Music leans reggae, house, jazz, funk and soul across long weekend sessions.
