Foxlowe Arts Centre is a community-run arts hub on Stockwell Street in Leek, Staffordshire (ST13 6AD), opened in December 2011 to fill the gap left when the town lost its Town Hall over 25 years earlier. Housed in a grand Grade II building overlooking the market place, it combines a gallery, performance stage, heritage rooms, craft workshops and a cafe-bar. The centre programmes a busy live-music calendar — folk, blues, americana, rock and acoustic acts — alongside comedy, cinema and theatre, with around 18 concerts in a typical year. It is the home of the Leek Arts Festival each May and the Leek Blues & Americana Festival on the first weekend of October, and has hosted artists including the Kris Barras Band and Toby Lee.
