Downcast Studios is a Gateshead live-music venue and rehearsal complex just off Durham Road, a short walk from the Gateshead Interchange. It packs four rehearsal rooms, a bar serving craft beer, a diner and a stage room that holds up to 100 for gigs and creative events — a true grass-roots room that has hosted bands like Boy Latex, 300SkullsAndCounting and Tired Of Fighting. Flexible, friendly and built by and for the local scene.
