Boiler Shop is a 1,000-capacity live-music and events venue set in a Grade II* listed former Robert Stephenson locomotive works in Newcastle's Stephenson Quarter, beside Central Station on the banks of the Tyne. Its Victorian industrial architecture — exposed brickwork and soaring iron beams — earned it a place on BBC Music's list of the ten most beautiful gig venues in the UK. It hosts a busy diet of touring bands, club nights and cultural events, making it one of Newcastle's flagship mid-size rooms.
