Blondies Brewery & Taproom is the Leyton sibling of the cult Clapton dive bar Blondies, opened by Australian sisters Sharmaine and Verity Cox on the Patchworks event space at 258 Church Road. Behind the bar it brews its own beer; inside it's a deceptively large, industrial-feel beer hall set up for gigs, pool and pizza, channelling the same scuzzy late-night rock and metal energy as the original. By day a relaxed taproom, by night an East London hangout for heavy and alternative live music.
