The O2 Institute Birmingham is a landmark Digbeth music venue, housed in a former 1908 church hall and run by the O2 Academy group since Live Nation's 2015 takeover. Across three rooms — a 1,500-capacity main auditorium plus the 500-cap O2 Institute2 and 250-cap O2 Institute3 — it spans everything from arena-bound touring acts to club nights and intimate up-and-comers. With a heritage that takes in Pink Floyd, The Cure and Arctic Monkeys, it remains one of the Midlands' busiest stages for rock, indie, metal and electronic gigs.
