The Black Boy is a large, friendly Marston's pub and restaurant at 444 Gower Road in Killay, sitting on the main road out towards the Gower from Swansea. It's a community-focused all-rounder — child- and dog-friendly, with WiFi, disabled access, a car park, a garden, darts and board games — and it's well known locally for the quality of its food, its range of drinks and its atmosphere. Entertainment includes live music alongside a Monday quiz night, and the kitchen and bar run from noon to late seven days a week. With the house PA and a roughly 80-capacity room, it suits covers and acoustic acts playing to a relaxed, mixed crowd.
