Chapel Arts Centre is Bath's intimate alternative live-music venue and café, set in the basement of St James's Memorial Hall on Lower Borough Walls. The not-for-profit, charitable venue holds 200 standing or 120 seated at cabaret tables, on a smooth oak floor with a state-of-the-art lighting rig and warm natural room acoustics. It programmes a wide spectrum of performing arts — music, theatre, dance, comedy, film and poetry — with a strong jazz, folk, acoustic and singer-songwriter strand and a PA in place for performers.
