The Caledonia — 'the Cali' — is a much-loved, dog-friendly free-house in Liverpool's Georgian quarter, widely rated as one of the city's best live-music pubs and a genuine hub for grassroots musicians. The fully-vegan venue serves local craft beer and real ale and puts on free shows specialising in jazz, Latin, folk, rock 'n' roll, skiffle, swing, blues, country and bluegrass — all free to attend. It's an intimate ~100-capacity room with a community spirit, board games and no fruit machines or Sky Sports.
