Buxton Opera House is a grand 902-seat Frank Matcham theatre (built 1903) on Water Street in the spa town of Buxton, Derbyshire. A full-time receiving house, it stages around 450 performances a year — opera, dance, musical theatre, pantomime, comedy, drama and concerts — and historically hosted the multi-day Four Four Time music festival. As a major staffed theatre it provides in-house PA and full technical crew, making it the Peak District's flagship large-scale stage for touring music and entertainment.
