The Brickyard is Carlisle's iconic independent live-music venue at 14 Fisher Street, reborn on New Year's Eve 2002 inside the century-old Richmond Memorial Hall. With a capacity of around 320 it's one of the north's most atmospheric small venues, programming rock, indie, metal and punk — a steady mix of touring bands and local originals. It runs with an in-house PA and is a long-standing fixture of the Cumbrian gig circuit.
