It runs as an independent gig room with a standing capacity of around 330 (about 170 seated), hosting indie, rock and folk bands, tribute acts and comedy, with an in-house PA and engineer. The venue was secured for the long term when Music Venue Properties — sometimes called 'the National Trust of music venues' — bought the building to save it from closure.
