About This Open Mic
The Night
West Malvern Social Club runs one of the best-equipped open mic nights in the area every Thursday, with the bar opening at 8pm and the main event from 9:30pm to 11:30pm. Hosts Tyler and Tara compere a fully kitted stage — full PA, mics, leads, stage DIs, stage lighting and a sound engineer all provided, plus a house piano, cajon and guitar. Entry is free for members.
About West Malvern Social Club
West Malvern Social Club is a not-for-profit community venue on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills with a thriving live music programme. Its Thursday open mic, hosted by Tyler and Tara, is widely regarded as one of the best in the area, with a full stage, lighting, PA, mics and an in-house sound engineer all provided. Sunday sessions bring a relaxed mix of folk, pop and country where beginners are genuinely welcome, and the club also runs a monthly jazz jam with house and visiting musicians.
