The Night

The Two Bridges, an ale house and kitchen right by London Bridge, runs a free open mic every Monday in partnership with UK Open Mic. Music kicks off at 7:30pm with walk-up sign-up from 7pm, though slots can be reserved ahead at UKOpenMic.com/TwoBridges and that's the safer bet. Each set is 10 minutes (roughly two songs, including set-up). The night costs the pub to put on, so they ask you to grab at least a drink from the bar to keep it going.

About The Two Bridges

The Two Bridges is a converted 1897 dockside pub at 186 Tooley Street, Southwark (SE1 2TZ), close to Tower Bridge and London Bridge station. It serves a rotating ale-house range and kitchen menu across a ground-floor bar plus a more intimate upstairs room. Entertainment runs through the week — weekly quizzes, weekly stand-up comedy, DJ sets and live music — anchored by a free UK Open Mic every Monday with music from 7:30pm. A house PA is provided and both originals and covers are welcome.

Planning Your Monday Night

Arrive by 19:00 to sign up for a slot. Entry is free and the open mic typically runs until late. A PA is provided — bring your own instrument and amp.
