The Three Tuns is a welcoming local in Portsmouth that's been revitalised under new management, with live bands and a friendly open mic. The open mic runs on the first Sunday of each month from 4pm to 7pm — an early-evening, all-ages-friendly slot to showcase local talent. It's a warm, lively room that gets packed when there's something on. Just turn up and check the notice board for sign-up.
About The Three Tuns
The Three Tuns is a traditional locals' pub at 133 Elson Road in the Elson district of Gosport, Hampshire (note: the directory city is set to Portsmouth, but the pub physically sits in Gosport). It has a large main bar with a games area for darts and pool plus a smaller lounge bar used for private functions. Live music takes place occasionally on Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons. There is a beer garden, sports TV and WiFi, and the pub is dog-friendly. Acts are expected to bring their own PA — there is no in-house rig.
