The Night
The Old Pack Horse is a handsome 18th-century Fuller's pub on Chiswick High Road, freshly refurbished in 2024. Its Open Mic & Jam Night runs on the second Thursday of every month, hosted by Ruairi MacManus — sign-ups from 7:30pm, music from 8pm, free to play. The gear is generous for a pub night: a full QSC K12 PA, two Shure mics with all stands, a house guitar and a cajon, so you can travel light. A welcoming, well-run monthly for Chiswick's acoustic crowd.
About The Old Pack Horse
The Old Pack Horse is a Grade II-listed Fuller's pub on Chiswick High Road (434, W4 5TF) in west London, designed by Nowell Parr with original stained glass and reopened after a refurbishment. It runs a lively weekly entertainment calendar: live music every Saturday night (a different, usually-acoustic act each week), guest DJs every Friday from 10pm, an Open Mic & Jam Night on the second Thursday of the month, a Wednesday quiz, monthly stand-up comedy and a first-Tuesday drag bingo. The open-mic stage is kitted out with a full QSC K12 PA, two Shure microphones with stands, a house guitar and a cajon. There is also a Thai restaurant on site. Capacity is around 100.
