It hosts an open mic every other Thursday, plus live music most weekends and the occasional jam night. A proper community real-ale pub. Find it at 21 Lansdowne Road, WR1 1SS.
About The Chestnut Tree Inn
The Chestnut Tree Inn (also known as the Chestnut Inn) is a friendly backstreet local at 17 Lansdowne Road, Worcester (WR1 1SS), run by a characterful landlord. Its two rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of art and feature a vinyl player and a pub library. Music is central: live music every weekend, an open-mic night every other Thursday, and live music outdoors in the spacious, dog-friendly beer garden through the warmer months, plus a monthly quiz. The bar pours real ales, continental pilsners, craft lager and cider, with steak night on Wednesdays, curry on Thursdays, Saturday breakfast and Sunday roasts. An in-house PA supports both originals and covers from local players.
