The Night

Rosslyn Court in Cliftonville is a friendly, acoustic-focused music venue, and its "Totally Classical" Open Mic is a real one-off — a relaxed evening for anyone to perform or just watch classical music, whatever your level. It runs every 2nd Wednesday from 7:30pm with free entry; a piano is provided and you're encouraged to bring any other instruments you need. Beginners, returners and total pros all share the same warm, supportive room. (Rosslyn Court also runs a separate beginners' open mic and a monthly sea-shanty night.)

About Rosslyn Court

Rosslyn Court is a vibrant, intimate acoustic music venue and B&B in a substantial Victorian villa in the heart of bohemian Cliftonville, Margate. It's a seated, listening-room space on one level with a bar, coffee and cake, and the programme runs from folk legends like Martin Carthy through jazz, shanty evenings, a monthly Classical Open Mic and a genuinely supportive Beginners Open Mic. The first hour of Thursday performances is professionally live-streamed on YouTube.
