About This Open Mic
The Night
Open Mic Mondays takes over East Coast Social on Southend seafront from 8pm, welcoming musicians, singers, poets and performers alongside a friendly seafront crowd. It's a walk-in night with no entry fee, and the venue runs a burger-and-pint deal for performers and punters on the night. A relaxed, all-comers session in one of Southend's better-known bar/restaurants.
About East Coast Social
East Coast Social is a bar and restaurant on Southend-on-Sea's bustling high street, built around an 'Eat, Drink, Dance, Be Social' ethos. Music is central: it runs an open mic open to all musicians, singers, poets and performers, and at weekends switches to a later licence with DJs, performers and a proper party atmosphere. There's also event space for hire, making it a flexible Southend spot for live entertainment.
