The Stage Door is a theatre pub on Compton Street in central Eastbourne, sitting on the former Buccaneer site a short walk from the seafront. It runs a regular programme of live music: monthly jazz nights on the last Thursday at 8pm, an open mic hosted by Mike Fillery, and a jazz and blues jam with drums, guitar, bass and a house PA. Performers of all abilities are welcome and there's a drink on the house for anyone who takes to the stage.
