The Night
Isaacs on the Quay sits in a characterful timber-framed building on Ipswich's historic Waterfront, and its open mic runs on the third Thursday of every month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Musicians, poets and performers of all kinds are welcome to take the stage — bring your instrument, your voice, or just your friends. It's a relaxed, supportive room that genuinely welcomes everyone, from nervous first-timers to seasoned regulars. A lovely, low-key way to perform on the Quay.
About Isaacs On The Quay
Isaacs on the Quay is a sprawling waterfront pub-and-events complex at 7 Wherry Quay on the Ipswich marina (IP4 1AS), with four bars, a large courtyard and a garden. It's a popular weekend destination on the quayside and a reliable stop for local cover bands and solo artists: live music runs every Sunday at 3pm — in the courtyard through summer (weather permitting) and in the Merchant Bar the rest of the year — with a live DJ taking requests every Saturday night until 1am. The bills lean towards soul, blues and rock 'n' roll covers (acts like Blues Brother Soul Sister and The Austin Beats have played here). A scenic, accessible riverside venue for covers acts and solo performers.
