Riff Wood is a high-energy rock band from Davis County, Utah, formed by teenage best friends Carson Groves, Hyrum Russon, and Asher “Shredder” Winegar, who began playing together at just 11 years old. After winning Utah’s Battle of the Bands as 9th graders, the trio quickly gained momentum through viral social media growth and a rapidly expanding global fanbase. Building upon the success of their debut album Tough Luck and a sold-out first US headline tour, Riff Wood signed with Giant Music and began working with legendary producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, My Chemical Romance). They’re currently recording their second album, channeling raw chemistry, tight musicianship, and fearless songwriting into their next chapter.
